I've been a blacksmith for well over thiry years, I was taught, mostly, by my father, who wouldn't let me do it for a living as there's no money in it. I undertake most kinds of ironwork: hand forging, welding/fabrication, repairs etc. I like to make things that look like they belong, particularly arhitetural and domestic items.

I try not to force steel into a shape but to persuade it that that's what it always wanted to be.

I'm always happy to discuss odd, one-off projects and to let clients design their own work.
